Office and commercial moving
With a business move the lifting isn’t the problem — downtime is. Every hour your staff can’t work costs more than the move itself. We relocate offices from ten workstations to entire head offices with hundreds of positions: in the evening, at weekends or phased department by department, so people are working again on Monday morning.
What makes a business move different
A domestic move is finished when everything is inside. A business move is only finished when everyone can log in, print and hold a meeting again — in the right place, with the right things.
That difference shapes the whole approach. It isn’t about boxes, it’s about continuity: which department goes when, what still has to work on Friday evening, what has to be ready on Monday morning. So for business moves we work with a project plan, a single point of contact, and a labelling system that ties every workstation to a position on the floor plan of the new premises.

Experience with large clients
We have carried out office relocations for leading organisations in Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam — among them a major oil and gas group, a large automotive organisation and several IT companies.
You only win that kind of work if you can show you can handle scale, planning and confidentiality. In a head office relocation it isn’t just furniture: it’s equipment with real value, documents with sensitive contents, and a schedule on which hundreds of people depend.
Oil and gas
Office environments with strict access procedures, secured zones and equipment that has to be logged before and after.
Automotive
Large office floors combined with showroom and technical spaces, each with its own approach and schedule.
IT companies
A lot of equipment per workstation, server rooms, and a low tolerance for downtime. Phasing counts most here.
What we move
Workstations
From ten to several hundred positions. Every workstation is numbered, packed and put back on the correct position at the new premises.
Desks and office furniture
Sit-stand desks, desktops, pedestals, cabinets and lockers — dismantled where needed, then rebuilt and adjusted in place.
IT equipment
Monitors, docks, laptops, phones and peripherals, packed and labelled per workstation so everything stays together and nothing goes missing.
Server rooms
Racks and network equipment, coordinated with your IT department or ICT partner. Disconnection and reconnection stay with the specialist; the transport is ours.
Large printers and plotters
Heavy, delicate machines that often won’t fit through a standard door. We plan the route in advance and bring in a moving lift where needed.
Meeting rooms
Large meeting tables come apart and are rebuilt, including cable trays, screens and boardroom furniture.
Canteen, lounge and reception
Seating, reception desks, fridges and coffee facilities — often the spaces that have to work first.
Archives and records
Files, folders and archive cabinets, labelled per department and put back in the same order.
Warehouse and industrial premises
Not every business move is an office. We also relocate warehouses, storage facilities and industrial premises: stock, racking, pallets, tools and workshop fit-out.
That calls for a different approach from an office floor. Stock is packed and wrapped per pallet so nothing shifts in transit, racking comes apart and is rebuilt at the new location, and we plan around your deliveries and order flow so your operation stops as little as possible.

- Stock and goods on pallets, wrapped and secured
- Racking and warehouse fit-out dismantled and rebuilt
- Workshop fit-out, tools and machinery
- Scheduling around deliveries and order peaks
- Interim storage if the new location isn’t ready
- Disposal of anything not coming with you
From one floor to a full head office
The approach scales with the size. For a small office one evening and a crew of four is enough. For a head office relocation we work in phases across several weekends, with multiple teams, multiple vans and a project planner keeping the sequence on track.
| Size | Approach | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 25 workstations | One team, outside office hours | One evening or night |
| 25 to 100 workstations | Multiple teams, weekend move | One weekend |
| 100 to several hundred | Phased by department or floor | Several weekends |
| Head office with interim storage | Phasing plus furniture storage | By arrangement, bespoke plan |
How a business move runs
- Intake and site visit. We look at both premises: lifts, loading bays, door widths, access procedures and parking. Without that, any schedule is guesswork.
- Inventory. What’s coming, what’s being replaced, what can go. On larger projects we record this per department and per workstation.
- Floor plan and labelling scheme. Every workstation gets a number matching a position on the floor plan of the new premises. That’s the difference between working on Monday morning and searching on Monday morning.
- Phasing and planning. Which department when, what has to keep running, and when the network switches over. Agreed with your facilities and IT people.
- Execution outside office hours. Dismantling, packing, loading, driving and rebuilding — evenings, nights or weekends.
- Rebuild and set-up. Furniture rebuilt and adjusted, workstations in position, equipment returned per desk.
- Handover and follow-up. We walk the new premises with you and remove the packing material. Snags are dealt with straight away.
Outside office hours, at weekends or phased
The cheapest business move isn’t the cheapest quote — it’s the move that costs the least working time.
So we schedule nearly every office relocation outside office hours. Clear out Friday evening, drive and rebuild on Saturday, finish and check on Sunday: on Monday morning everyone is at their new desk. For larger organisations we phase by department or floor, so the business keeps running while the move proceeds.
- Evening, night and weekend work at no surcharge
- Phasing by department, floor or building section
- Coordination with building management over lifts and loading bays
- Access procedures and security requirements arranged in advance
- One fixed point of contact throughout
- English and Dutch speaking crews
Storage between two locations
Does the handover of your new premises not line up with the end of your current lease? We store the furniture in the meantime in our own dry, secure facility with CCTV — including transport there and back. Also useful if you’re fitting out in phases and can’t take everything at once. See storage.
Some furniture not coming with you? We’ll arrange disposal by agreement, so you can hand the old premises over empty.
What does a business move cost?
For office relocations we work with a project quote rather than an hourly rate. The price follows from the number of workstations, the volume of furniture, the number of floors and lifts, how much dismantling and rebuilding is involved, and the window in which the work has to happen.
| What drives the price | Note |
|---|---|
| Number of workstations | The main factor in office relocations |
| Dismantling and rebuilding | Meeting tables, cabinets and sit-stand desks take the most time |
| Floors, lifts and loading bay | Waiting for a shared lift is the most expensive delay there is |
| Heavy equipment | Plotters, safes and server racks need extra equipment |
| Phasing and time window | Several weekends takes more planning than a single night |
| Interim storage | By volume in m³ and duration |
You get a fixed project price in advance, so your budget is settled. Your inventory is insured during the move up to €200,000 per claim; for higher inventory values we record the cover separately beforehand.

Frequently asked questions
Can you move outside office hours?
Yes, and with office relocations that’s more the rule than the exception. We work evenings, nights and weekends at no surcharge, so your organisation loses no working time.
How many workstations can you handle?
From ten workstations to full head offices with several hundred positions. Large projects are carried out in phases, by department or floor, with multiple teams at once.
Do you relocate warehouses and industrial premises?
Yes. Stock on pallets, racking, workshop fit-out and tools. We plan around your deliveries and order flow so your operation stops as little as possible.
Do you move IT equipment and server racks?
The transport and packing are ours, labelled per workstation so everything stays together. Disconnecting and reconnecting server equipment is coordinated with your IT department or ICT partner.
How do you make sure everything ends up in the right place?
With a labelling scheme: every workstation gets a number matching a position on the floor plan of the new premises. Furniture, equipment and boxes carry that same number.
Can you move large printers and plotters?
Yes. These are heavy, delicate machines that often won’t fit through a standard door, so we plan the route in advance and bring in a moving lift where needed.
Can you store furniture in the meantime?
Yes, in our own dry, secure storage with CCTV, including transport there and back.
Is our inventory insured during the move?
Yes, up to €200,000 per claim. For a higher inventory value we record the cover separately in advance.
How far ahead should we book?
For a small office a few weeks is enough. For a phased head office relocation we prefer to plan several months ahead, so the site visit, inventory and labelling scheme can be prepared properly.
