Moving supplies delivered to your door

Packing only works if you have the materials at home. We deliver moving boxes, wardrobe boxes, reusable crates, packing paper, bubble wrap and moving blankets to your address — well before moving day, so you can start calmly rather than the night before. Below you’ll find what we supply, including specifications.

Why have supplies delivered in advance

The main benefit is time. With boxes in the house you pack in the weeks before the move — one cupboard an evening — instead of everything in one frantic night.

Collecting boxes yourself also costs a trip, a full car and usually two shortfalls. We put them at your door in the quantity that suits your home. And whatever you don’t use, you don’t pay for.

  • Delivered well before moving day so you can work ahead
  • No trips to the DIY store and no running out halfway
  • Boxes charged according to use
  • Empty boxes and materials collected after the move
  • Everything in one delivery: boxes, paper, wrap, tape and blankets

Our moving boxes: strong enough to be stacked and strapped into the van without collapsing.

What we supply

Moving boxes

The standard size everything else is built around: strong enough for books and crockery, small enough to stay liftable when full.

Wardrobe boxes

With a rail so clothing travels on its hangers. You empty your wardrobe into the box and back into the new one — no folding, no ironing, no hunting for hangers.

Reusable plastic crates

Stackable, waterproof and far sturdier than cardboard. Handy for things you’ll need again quickly, and more sustainable because they go round again each time.

Packing paper

For glassware and crockery: wrap each item and fill the empty space. Recycled, and it doesn’t leave ink on your plates the way old newspaper does.

Bubble wrap

For fragile shapes that flat protection won’t suit: vases, lamps, figurines and anything with protruding parts.

Moving blankets

The basis for large items: mirrors, table tops, cabinets and screens. They absorb knocks and prevent scuff damage in the van.

Tape, markers and labels

Small but decisive. Without consistent labelling, everything ends up in the hallway on unpacking day instead of in the right room.

Covers and protective film

Mattress covers, stretch film and corner protection for furniture that won’t go in a box.

Prefer to buy from Gamma or Praxis?

That’s perfectly fine, and we’ll tell you honestly what to watch for. If you buy elsewhere, choose boxes with comparable specifications: single-wall B-flute, roughly 54 × 33 × 31 cm and a load capacity up to 50 kg.

Why that size and that board matter:

Bigger boxes break

A larger box tempts you to fill it with books. The board won’t take it, the bottom tears, and it’s barely liftable anyway.

Thin board collapses

Single-wall board of the right quality can be stacked. Thin supermarket boxes buckle as soon as three are stacked in the van.

Mismatched sizes stack badly

Boxes of one size lock together in the van. A mix of sizes leaves voids, and voids mean shifting while driving.

Used boxes are a gamble

A box that’s already done one move has lost most of its strength. Fine for clothes, not for glassware.

Not sure? Then simply order from us and you’ll know the material matches the way our movers load.

How many boxes do I need?

As a rule of thumb: around ten to fifteen boxes per occupant for an average household, plus extra for the kitchen and for books. With a free pre-move survey we estimate the number for you, loft and shed included — the two spaces nearly everyone forgets to count.

Order slightly too many rather than too few. You only pay for what you use, and running out of boxes halfway through packing is the most common reason people lose an evening.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you need. Not sure exactly? Tell us how big your home is and how many people live there, and we’ll put a package together.
  2. We deliver to your door. Well before your moving date, so you can start early.
  3. You pack at your own pace. A room an evening works better than everything in one weekend.
  4. We collect what’s left. Unused boxes and materials go back and aren’t invoiced.
  5. After the move we take the empties. No mountain of cardboard in your new living room.

Rather not pack at all?

Then we’ll do it. With our packing service both materials and packers come to you: glassware wrapped individually, boxes labelled by room, and unpacked again in your new home. Many customers pick a middle route — we do the kitchen and the glassware, you do the clothes and books.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver moving supplies to my home?

Yes. Moving boxes, wardrobe boxes, reusable crates, packing paper, bubble wrap, moving blankets and tape are delivered to your address, well before moving day so you can start packing.

What are the specifications of your moving boxes?

Load capacity up to 50 kg, capacity up to 50 litres, single-wall B-flute board, dimensions 54 × 33 × 31 cm.

Do I pay for boxes I don’t use?

No. Boxes are charged according to use; whatever stays unused goes back at no cost.

Do you have wardrobe boxes?

Yes, with a rail so clothing travels on its hangers. You empty your wardrobe into the box and straight back into the new one.

Can I have reusable crates instead of cardboard?

Certainly. Plastic crates are stackable, waterproof and sturdier than cardboard, and they go round again each time — the more sustainable choice.

Can I buy my boxes at Gamma or Praxis instead?

That’s perfectly fine. Look for comparable specifications: single-wall B-flute, roughly 54 × 33 × 31 cm and a load capacity up to 50 kg. Boxes that are too large or too thin collapse when stacked in the van.

How many boxes do I need?

Around ten to fifteen per occupant, plus extra for the kitchen and books. With a free pre-move survey we estimate the number for you.

Do you collect the empty boxes after the move?

Yes. Empty boxes and packing material go back with us afterwards, so you’re not left with a pile of cardboard.

What do the packing materials cost?

Packing materials such as paper, bubble wrap, tape and covers start from €50. Boxes are charged separately according to use. Your quote states the exact amount.
