Sometimes one home doesn’t hand over neatly to the next. A renovation that overruns, a completion date that slips, a few months abroad. Rather than parking your belongings with family or renting expensive self-storage, we put them in our own facility — dry, secure and insured — and bring them back to you on the agreed day.
The first week of storage is free
Book your move with us and your belongings sit in our storage free of charge for the first seven days. No daily rate, no deposit, no minimum period. You only start paying from day eight — and then only for the volume you actually use.
This is the situation almost everyone runs into and for which there’s barely a solution. The notary schedules the transfer for a Tuesday, you have to hand over the keys on Friday, and in between your entire household has to go somewhere. Renting a self-storage unit for those few days means a contract, a deposit, hiring a van twice and loading everything twice.
With us your belongings go into the van once. We drive them to our storage, they sit there dry and secure, and on the day you can move in they’re at your door. For that first week we charge nothing — you pay only for your move.
When storage is the answer
Your new home isn’t ready
The key handover slips, or the completion of a new build runs late. Your belongings go into storage and come out as soon as you can get in.
Renovation work
Floors, plastering or a new kitchen go considerably faster in an empty house — and your furniture avoids dust, paint and damp damage.
Temporarily abroad
A posting, a sabbatical or a longer trip. You don’t need to keep a rental just to have somewhere to leave your things.
Bridging two homes
Your old place has to be handed over empty before the new one is available. Usually a matter of days — and therefore within the free first week.
Downsizing
Not yet decided what comes and what goes? Put it away temporarily and decide calmly rather than under pressure on moving day.
Part of your household
Not everything has to come. Seasonal items, a spare bed or the contents of the loft can be stored separately.
Already arranged your own storage? We’ll drive to it
Many customers already have a unit with a self-storage company, a garage or a warehouse. Even then you don’t have to carry anything: we deliver your belongings to that location, or collect them from it.
And you don’t need to be there. Share the access instructions with us — gate code, unit number, key arrangement, on-site contact — and we handle the delivery or collection entirely on our own.
That saves you a day off. Whether you’re at the office, abroad or already in your new home on the other side of the country, the delivery or collection goes ahead. Afterwards we confirm what was placed or collected, so you know it’s done.

What does storage cost?
After the free first week the price is set by the number of cubic metres your belongings take up. You aren’t renting a fixed unit that sits half empty — you pay for the volume you actually use.
That’s the key difference from most self-storage companies, where you take a unit of a fixed size and have to guess whether your things will fit. We measure the volume when quoting, and that volume sets the price. For most customers it works out better, particularly if you’re only storing part of your household.

How safe are my belongings?
In our own storage location, not with a third party. That means the same people who handle your move are responsible for what’s in storage.

Damp is the risk people underestimate with storage. A shed, garage or unheated warehouse makes timber furniture move and causes mould in mattresses and textiles. A dry space isn’t a luxury — it’s the core of good storage.
Access during the storage period
Your belongings aren’t gone — they’re just somewhere else. If you need something in the meantime, say winter clothes, tools or a box of paperwork, that’s possible by appointment. A call or an email and we’ll make sure you can get to it.
Storage combined with your move
The big advantage of storing with your mover: your belongings are packed and moved once, not twice. We collect, store and deliver again — same people, same materials, one point of contact. And because storage is part of your move, the first week costs nothing.
With a self-storage unit you usually do the transport yourself, twice, in a hired van. With us the transport sits in the same quote as the move, including packing and disassembly where needed.
How long can I store for?
From one week to a year or longer. We’re flexible: if your renovation overruns or your completion date shifts, we extend without fuss. The same the other way — if you can get in earlier, we bring your things back earlier.
